Final Comprehensive Plan
The Harrison Comprehensive Plan provides a long-range vision to guide the community’s growth, development, and investment over the next 10–20 years. Grounded in public engagement, data analysis, and stakeholder input, the plan establishes a framework for future land use, economic development, housing, transportation, and quality of life improvements. It aims to balance growth with the preservation of community character by directing development to appropriate areas, supporting local businesses, enhancing infrastructure and mobility options, and expanding parks and recreational opportunities.
Existing Conditions Report
The existing conditions report (ECR) is a preliminary step in planning. When preparing a plan, it is vital to understand where the community is currently. The ECR summarizes the findings from extensive research on the past and current strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats specific to Harrison, Ohio.
